Karmic Compounds is committed to providing researchers with compounds backed by verifiable quality documentation. We are actively working to ensure every product we carry is supported by a Certificate of Analysis (COA) — either supplied by our manufacturers or generated through independent third-party laboratory testing.
We are in the process of collecting manufacturer-issued COAs for our current inventory and submitting select products for independent third-party analytical testing (HPLC purity analysis and mass spectrometry identity confirmation). This is an ongoing process, and documentation is being added to product listings as it becomes available.
If a product page does not yet display a COA, it means testing or documentation collection for that item is still in progress — not that the product hasn't been sourced from a qualified supplier.
Some product listings currently show a Certificate of Analysis provided directly by our manufacturer or supplier. These reflect the supplier's own in-house testing and are clearly labeled "Supplier-Provided" on the product page — they have not yet been confirmed by an independent, third-party laboratory. As independent test results come in, we will replace these with "Independently Verified" documentation for the corresponding lot. We believe some documentation is better than none while this process is underway, but want to be transparent about which type you're looking at.
While we build out this documentation, you can request the most current COA or supplier documentation we have on file for any product by emailing info@karmiccompounds.com with your Order ID (if applicable) and the product name. We're happy to share what we have and keep you updated as independent testing results come in.
A Certificate of Analysis is a lab report for a specific production batch. It typically documents the analytical method used (such as HPLC for purity, or mass spectrometry for identity confirmation), the resulting purity percentage, and identifying information for the tested batch. COAs are a standard tool used in the research compound industry to document batch-level quality — they are not medical or safety certifications, and do not change the Research Use Only status of any product. As COAs are finalized, we will begin assigning batch/lot numbers that correspond directly to the documentation for that production run, so the information on file matches what's on the product you receive. This system is being rolled out gradually — reach out any time if you'd like to know the status for a specific product.
